Primary Purpose:

Our organization was founded in 1896 to offer housing solutions that provide lasting changes for families, neighborhoods, and communities in need. Our organization is growing in capacity and needs a writer skilled in the social services realm.

Programming and Dollar Needs:

The agency has an extensive history of providing a wide range of programs and housing for Southern California’s most vulnerable, including individuals, families, and youth who are homeless; low-income families; Veterans; ex-offenders; people living with HIV/AIDS; single parents; transgender persons; and other at-risk populations.

Project Description:

Provide your hourly rate for writing curriculum for: 15 hours per week for 24 weeks. For a total of 360 hours.

Hours/amount of time needed may vary.

Provide your hourly rate for crowdfunding mentoring for: 15 hours per week for 24 weeks. For a total of 360 hours.

Because our organization was founded over a hundred years ago, we have established ourselves all throughout our community, and fortunately, our programs speak for themselves. We have taken part in several community empowerment events and partnered with several other organizations/governmental entities to help promote our mission and help the communities we serve.

Currently, our organization is funded through federal, state, and local grants (~95% of funding). The rest of our funding is foundation/private. We apply for over 120 grant opportunities per year and run over 90 social services programs.
