Primary Purpose:
Our primary purpose in seeking a grant writer is to get the assistance of a professional who can write winning proposals and improve our chances of receiving an award(s).
Programming and Dollar Needs:
We need funding to pay staff salaries for and including the Executive Director, FinancialTechnology Tutors, IT specialist, Online Training Manager, among others. We also need funds for operational expenses, including purchasing/leasing computers for students who can't afford one, and program development.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 4 hours per week for 4 weeks.   For a total of 16 hours.

Our company is in existence for: 14 Year(s)
We presently provide or will be providing services in the geographic areas of: Washington DC Metropolitan Area, however, we expect to expand our outreach once we launch the online training program.
We offer technology and workforce development training to adults earning low income, unemployed or underemployed. We are starting an online training program as soon as the necessary logistics are in place.
Current Revenue:
We use volunteers for the most part and raise income from inkind donations. We have also received small cash grants from a number of Maryland State agencies.

We have previously received $60,000 in grant funds.

We received seed funding of $35,000 from our local county council in 2007, $10000 from, NORI, $5000 from SBA and $2500 from Takoma Park Foundation., in 2020.
