Primary Purpose:

To help procure grant money for both my nonprofit and for-profit businesses.

Programming and Dollar Needs:

We need to purchase office space and equipment. We also need funds to publish workbooks and other therapeutic resources related to what we do. Most importantly, we need to purchase a pickup truck and a horse trailer with living quarters so we can continue to travel the U.S. offering free workshops to veterans.

My for-profit: Therapy with Dr. Need funding for office space and publishing as well as space to conduct workshops.
My non-profit needs funding to be able to get the transportation we need, publish workbooks and documents, and to purchase an additional horse with which to work. As well as, maintaining care for our horses.

Project Description:

Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 2 hours per week for 12 weeks. For a total of 24 hours.

I have no idea how much time is needed. I am clueless about how to get this done - how to find the right grants, how to apply, and how to win.

My for-profit business is me as a Licensed Professional Counselor and RN - providing counseling for a diverse population of clients dealing with anything from depression to chronic pain and/or how the two affect each other.
My non-profit is me and my horse traveling across the U.S. offering free workshops to veterans using equine-assisted psychotherapy to help those veterans struggling with PTSD.

Current Revenue:

My for-profit bills health insurance.
My non-profit does not generate any money because we do not know how to get substantial donations or grants. I pay for everything.

This will be our first time applying for grant funding.

We have not previously received grant funds.

We do not have a copy of our previously written grant application(s).

We do not have a fundraising packet.
