Primary Purpose:
Find Grant & Funding Opportunities + Write the RFP/Application.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
We are seeking a grant writer to help locate and secure funding for our programs and projects. We are a nonprofit nurse support group. We provide scholarships for second-semester students and provide a food program for the underserved. Most importantly, we supply the care and the needs of nurses who are stricken with an illness/disease.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.   For a total of 16 hours.
Provide your hourly rate for writing curriculum for: 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.   For a total of 16 hours.

Services:
We presently provide or will be providing services in the geographic areas of: South Madison County, Mississippi and local areas around.
Scholarships for second-semester nursing students. We hold health fairs. We collaborate with the local church in food drives on a quarterly basis. We provide assistance for local disasters. Help low-income families when called upon.
Current Revenue:
Monthly dues from members, personal revenue from each member, and assistance from a few local doctors and businesses. We also have different fundraisers.
Grant History:
This will be our first time applying for grant funding.
We have not previously received grant funds.

We have an agency mission statement: We will offer an opportunity and provide an avenue for individuals to share with others their experiences related to various health conditions and treatment. Our Vision is to support those with various health related condtions. Our Mission: to be a beacon in the community by providing emotional, mental, and spiritual support to people who have been diagnosed with various health conditions, as well as family members and caregivers.
