Primary Purpose:
To find someone who has the expertise in finding and maximizing the grants specifically for our purpose.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
Our organization promotes literacy in low-income communities by providing books that deal with social issues that children in these areas can identify with. We bring mascot characters of our stories to directly engage the children in their community. We would like to facilitate a building space in the community to implement creative writing and performing arts. This is part of our organization's expansion. At this time we are at phase one of our mission and that’s distributing as many books and putting on talent shows at the same time providing second-chance opportunities to teens and young adults who are at risk. For phase one of our project to be successful, we need $150,000. For phase two to be successful we would need at least $400,000.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 5 hours per week for 6 weeks.   For a total of 30 hours.
