Primary Purpose:
We are a small Missouri-based medical nonprofit missioned to help those with pediatric chronic heart Illness by creating a space to access compassionate, and reputable mental health support for free. We are seeking to contract a grant writer to support growing our organization from a local to a national organization.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 20 hours per month for 12 months.   For a total of 240 hours.
We are looking for large grants for mental health, community outreach to address unmet basic needs, and technology and research.

Our Community Outreach program provides individualized support to ease hardships by meeting basic needs first. Our program creates a space for those in need to access compassionate, and reputable mental health support. We round out our approach by collaborating with innovators on cutting-edge advancements in prediction, precision, and prevention to improve care through our technology and research program.

Pediatric heart disease is the most frequently occurring congenital disability. The socio-economic, physical, and psychological needs of heart children are 3-4 times greater than those with other childhood illnesses yet support for this group is the least funded and represented. 9 out of 10 children survive into adulthood. The needs of the heart community are layered and complex. Our program provides individualized support to ease hardships by meeting basic needs first. This creates space to access compassionate, and reputable mental health support for free. We round out our approach by collaborating with innovators on cutting-edge advancements in prediction, precision, and prevention to improve care through our Technology and Research program. Our vision is every heart child and family will be wrapped in love to eliminate the traumas endured by living with a chronic illness.
