We are seeking assistance in obtaining a grant for an educational tutoring academy. We tutor students in all K-12 subject areas, including SAT/ACT test preparation, math, science, and English language arts.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
We tutor students in all K-12 subject areas, including SAT/ACT test preparation, math, science, and English language arts.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 10 hours per week for 4 weeks.   For a total of 40 hours.

We have an agency mission statement: Our program is designed to increase the number of historically marginalized K-12 and college students. Since minority students are underrepresented or struggling with various subjects at school, our organization provides low or reduced after-school classes in key STEM subjects, including science (biology, chemistry, and physics) and technology (computer science, information, and communications technology) and math. We targeted the student population including low-income, underrepresented students of color. STEM subjects are important because they form the basis of a huge number of careers. Some of these jobs might be obvious, such as research scientist, doctor, engineer, and accountant. Others, however, such as software developers, pilots, and architects are not so apparent. We would like to provide these programs to students after school and, if necessary, on weekends.
