Grant Writer Request #09302021B

Primary Purpose:
We want to diversify and expand our funding sources for our ministry within our community. Some of this funding will be capital improvements, some will expand the ministry in our community, some will be funding for food insecurity programs, financial assistance with rent and utilities, some will be new ministries.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
Currently our organization receives about 30% of its funding from an attached thrift store managed by the organization. The funding from the thrifts store is combined with roughly 30% coming from direct donations, and the other 40% coming from grants and corporate donations.
Our needs for the future will be for new ministries. These will probably be more of an enrichment nature than focusing only on the necessities of life.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 5 hours per week for 50 weeks.   For a total of 250 hours.
The numbers I listed above are just guesses. I have never done this before. I would hope we could have someone on a retainer, as they found grants they felt aligned with our mission they could contact us and see if we wanted to pursue a specific grant.
