Seeking a Full-time Grant Writer Specializing in AI Technology, Autism & Children

Our nonprofit is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to secure funding for innovative, responsible AI technology that supports autistic children, their families, educators, clinicians, and care teams. The ideal candidate is an excellent storyteller and researcher who can translate complex technology into persuasive, accessible proposals. You will identify funding opportunities and develop compelling applications for foundations, government agencies, corporations, and other grant-making organizations. Key Responsibilities: Research and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with our mission. Write persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, and supporting materials. Clearly communicate the benefits, limitations, and responsible use of AI in child- and autism-focused settings. Collaborate with leadership, technical teams, clinicians, educators, researchers, and community partners. Develop project narratives, goals, outcomes, evaluation plans, timelines, and budgets. Maintain a grant calendar and manage submission and reporting deadlines. Track proposal results and help strengthen the organization’s long-term funding strategy. Ensure applications reflect ethical AI practices, child safety, privacy, accessibility, and respect for the diverse autism community. Demonstrated experience writing successful foundation, corporate, or government grant applications. Exceptional writing, editing, research, and project-management skills.
