Primary Purpose:
To provide assistance for housing and feeding the homeless and low-income families.
Programming and Dollar Needs:
Our organization feeds the homeless and provides housing for families on the street when there is no space in the shelters. We partner with several other nonprofit organizations in 3 counties in Northern MD, VA, and Southern Maryland. We sponsor 2 Coat & Blanket drives a year. We have an established relationship with a Clothing Center that provides clothing to the communities in Northern Virginia. We are also starting a program to encourage the homeless to get registered for the Covid-19 Vaccine.
Project Description:
Provide your hourly rate for research and locating grants for: 8 hours per week for 4 weeks.   For a total of 32 hours.
I need someone as soon as possible. We currently have several projects that we are working on with a partner nonprofit to provide blankets and hot beverages to those on the streets at night. Establishing a program to register the homeless for the COVID-19 Vaccine.
The Grant Writer should be ready to begin work on: Immediately

We presently provide or will be providing services in the geographic areas of: We have donors all over the US, therefore, we provide services wherever they are needed. Specifically; Washington, DC, VA, MD, NC, AZ, IL.
Feed the homeless, coat drives, Covid-19 vaccines for the homeless
Current Revenue:
Our Evangelist Ministries partners are our Principle Donors. They give generously every week through Tithing and offerings. We sponsor several fundraisers throughout the year of which partner with a local radio personality. We participate in the Annual Giving Tuesday every year. We have an In-Kind donor located in Northern VA, 29 Diner who donated enough food to serve 100 over the Thanksgiving holidays. in addition to Boston Market who donated Thanksgiving dinners for a Residence Homeless Shelter of 29, and 6 Staffers.
Grant History:
This will be our first time applying for grant funding.
We have not previously received grant funds.
We do not have a copy of our previously written grant application(s).
We do not have a fundraising packet.
We have an agency mission statement: To Promote a Culture of Kingdom building based on the principles and guidelines in Matthew 28:18-20, to be a consistent, visible, and active Body of Christ impacting despariging communities by providing assistance to the homeless population with shelter, clothing, and food.
