Classified Ad #: 09232025BPQThe Those Who Served Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans and first responders through programs that include free therapeutic fishing charters and community-based initiatives. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Grant Writer to join our team and help secure funding that directly supports those who sacrificed so much for us. Responsibilities: Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government entities. Write compelling, mission-driven grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports. Collaborate with leadership to align funding needs with grant requirements. Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance. Build and maintain relationships with funding organizations. Qualifications: Proven experience in nonprofit grant writing (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong writing, research, and organizational skills. Ability to translate mission, vision, and program goals into persuasive proposals. Familiarity with funding sources for veterans’ services, first responder support, or outdoor therapy programs a plus. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
