Grant Writer Needed for a Chamber of Commerce

Are you passionate about economic empowerment and community development? Our Chamber of Commerce is seeking a skilled and motivated Grant Writer to help us expand our impact and secure funding for transformative programs that uplifts Black-owned businesses across our state As our Grant Writer, you'll play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and managing grant applications from start to finish. You'll collaborate with leadership to align funding strategies with our mission and help drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities: * Research and identify relevant public and private grant opportunities * Write, edit and submit high-Quality grant proposals and reports * Maintain grant calendar and track deadlines * Collaborate with program staff to gather data and success stories * Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards Qualifications: * Proven experience in grant writing (2+ years preferred) * Strong research, writing, and editing skills * Familiarity with nonprofit funding and economic development *Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently * Passion for supporting Black entrepreneurship and community advancement Location: (hybrid or remote options available) Compwnsation: Flat Project Fee based on grant complexity and scope Apply: Send your resume, cover letter, and two writing samples to dr.angelic.cole@cbcc,biz with Subject line: Grant Writer Application
