Grant Writer Wanted! Minimum Pay or Volunteers Seeking a Grant Writer to help secure funding for our 46th Arts, Crafts & Cultural Fair, one of our city's longest-running neighborhood traditions celebrating local art, culture, and community spirit. Position Overview: Research, identify, and apply for public and private grant opportunities to support event programming, art installations, youth arts engagement, entertainment, and community outreach efforts. Responsibilities: Research and identify local, state, and national grant opportunities aligned with community arts and cultural initiatives Prepare grant proposals, narratives, supporting materials Track deadlines, submissions, reporting requirements Collaborate with committee to align proposals with project goals and community impact Qualifications: Experience in grant writing for nonprofits, arts, or community organizations Research, writing, and project skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Knowledge of Detroit-area arts Compensation: Contract-based, commensurate with experience and scope of work
